UPSSSC AGTA Examination Syllabus (पाठ्यक्रम)

Part - 1 (भाग-1)

1. Crop Science (1- फसल विज्ञान)

• Classification of crops, major cereals, pulses, oilseeds, millets, fiber, cash crops, spices and fodder, fruits, flowers and vegetable crops grown in the State and major crops production techniques and agro practices. (फसलों का वर्गीकरण, प्रदेश में उगाई जाने वाली प्रमुख खाद्यान्न, दलहनी, तिलहनी, मिलेट्स, रेशेदार, नकदी फसलें, मसालों एवं चारावाली फसलें, फल, फूल एवं सब्जी तथा प्रमुख फसलों की खेती की उत्पादन तकनीक एवं शस्य क्रियाएं।)
• Post-harvest management of produce. (फसल कटाई उपरान्त उपज प्रबन्धन।)
• Fruits and vegetables preservation and processing. (फल एवं सब्जी का संरक्षण व प्रोसेसिंग।)
• Principles of crop rotation, cropping pattern and types of farming like dry farming, integrated farming, natural farming, mono cropping, multiple cropping, intercropping and types and importance of organic farming, it’s socio-economic importance/use. (फसल चक्र के सिद्धान्त, फसल प्रणाली एवं खेती के प्रकार यथा-शुष्क कृषि, एकीकृत फसल प्रणाली, बहु फसली, अन्तः फसली, प्राकृतिक खेती, जैविक खेती का महत्व एवं प्रकार, सामाजिक एवं आर्थिक उपयोग।)
• Importance of Seed, types of seeds and its production methods. (बीज का महत्व, प्रकार एवं उत्पादन।)
• Method of Seed treatment and its importance. (बीज शोधन की विधियाँ एवं महत्व।)
• Basic principles, scope and importance of crop protection, name of major equipments and chemicals used in pest control, integrated pest management. (कृषि रक्षा के सामान्य सिद्धान्त, उद्देश्य एवं इसका महत्व एवं उनमें प्रयोग होने वाले मुख्य उपकरण व रसायनों का नाम, एकीकृत नाशीजीव प्रबन्धन।)
• Insect, pest and diseases of major crops and its management. (प्रमुख फसलों के कीट एवं रोग तथा उसका प्रबन्धन।)
• Principles and Systems of produce storage, and factors affecting the quality of produce and storage & its management. (उपज भण्डारण की विधियाँ, सिद्धान्त तथा भण्डारण व उपज की गुणवत्ता को प्रभावित करने वाले कारक तथा उनका प्रबन्धन।)

2. Biotechnology, Plant breeding & Crop physiology (2- जैव तकनीकी, पादप प्रजनन व क्रॉप-फिजियोलॉजी)

• Importance and utility of Biotechnology in agriculture. (जैव विज्ञान का कृषि में महत्व एवं उपयोग।)
• Principles, use and importance of Genetics & Plant Breeding. (अनुवांशिकी एवं पादप प्रजनन के सिद्धान्त, उपयोग एवं महत्व।)
• Photosynthesis, Respiration, Evaporation, Plant Anatomy and Metabolism. (प्रकाश संश्लेषण, श्वसन, वाष्पोत्सर्जन, पौधों की एनाटॉमी एवं मेटाबॉलिज्म।)

3. Soil and Water Conservation (3- मृदा एवं जल प्रबन्धन)

• Properties and components of soil, process of soil formation, types of soil erosion and its conservation techniques / effective measures for prevention. (मृदा के गुण, इसके अवयव, मृदा बनने की प्रक्रिया, मृदा अपरदन के प्रकार एवं इसकी रोकथाम के प्रभावी उपाय।)
• Essential nutrients found in soil, role and associated deficiency symptoms / disorders. (मृदा में पाये जाने वाले आवश्यक पोषक तत्व, महत्व तथा कमी से होने वाले विकार।)
• Classification of fertilizers, its nutrient content and methods of application. (उर्वरकों का वर्गीकरण एवं पोषक तत्वों की मात्रा तथा उपयोग की विधियाँ।)
• Integrated nutrient management, types, importance and role of organic fertilizers/bio-fertilizers. (एकीकृत पोषक तत्व प्रबन्धन, जैव उर्वरक/जैविक खादों के प्रकार, महत्व एवं लाभ।)
• Soil microbiology and its major role in crop production. (मृदा सूक्ष्म जीव विज्ञान तथा इनकी प्रमुख भूमिका।)
• Soil survey, methods of soil sampling and soil conservation techniques. (मृदा सर्वेक्षण, मृदा नमूना लेने की विधि तथा मृदा संरक्षण तकनीक।)
• Source, method and its importance of Irrigation / Means of irrigation, methods and their benefits. (सिंचाई के साधन, विधियाँ तथा उनके लाभ।)
• Basic concepts & methods of Drainage. [जल निकास (ड्रेनेज) की मूल अवधारणा एवं विधियाँ।]
• Watershed Management. [जल संचयन क्षेत्र प्रबन्धन (वाटरशेड मैनेजमेंट)।]
• Types of pollution and environmental protection. (प्रदूषण के प्रकार एवं पर्यावरण संरक्षण।)

4. Agriculture Extension (4- कृषि प्रसार)

• Principles of agriculture extension and rural development. (कृषि प्रसार एवं ग्रामीण विकास के सिद्धान्त।)
• Extension methodologies, audio-visual aids, classification and their importance. (प्रसार विधि-दृश्य एवं श्रव्य साधन, उनका वर्गीकरण, महत्व।)
• Training: objectives, importance and it’s types / Training targets, importance and types. (प्रशिक्षण-लक्ष्य, महत्व एवं प्रकार।)
• Different programs and schemes of the Govt. of India and State Govt. run for the welfare of farmers and rural development. (भारत सरकार व प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा चलाई गयी विभिन्न ग्रामीण विकास एवं किसानों के उत्थान के लिए योजनाएं।)

5. Agriculture Economics & Schemes (5- कृषि अर्थशास्त्र एवं योजनाएं)

• Role of agriculture in One trillion economy of U.P. (वन ट्रिलियन इकोनॉमी हेतु उ०प्र० का कृषि कार्यों के माध्यम से योगदान।)
• Economic reforms in Agriculture sector. (कृषि सम्बन्धी आर्थिक सुधार।)
• Concept of import and export of agriculture produce. (कृषि जिन्सों के आयात एवं निर्यात की अवधारणा।)
• Formulation of plans for Agriculture / Setting targets for agriculture plans. (कृषि की योजना निर्धारण।)

6. Dairy & Animal Husbandry (6- पशुपालन एवं दुग्ध विज्ञान)

• Different Breeds of domestic animals & feed management / Different types of animals used in animal husbandry, nutritional management. (पशुपालन में काम आने वाली पशुओं की विभिन्न किस्में, पोषक प्रबन्धन।)
• Objectives and methods of animal breeding. (पशु प्रजनन उद्देश्य एवं विधियाँ।)
• Milk production and its distribution. (दुग्ध उत्पादन एवं वितरण।)
• Basic knowledge of Poultry farming, Fish farming, Apiculture and Seri culture. (कुक्कुट पालन एवं मत्स्य पालन, मधुमक्खी पालन, रेशमकीट पालन।)
• Major diseases of domestic animals, diagnosis and their treatment. (पशुओं की प्रमुख बीमार, लक्षण, निदान एवं उपचार।)

Part- 2 (भाग-2)

Knowledge of Concepts of Computer and Information Technology and Contemporary Technological Development and Innovation in this field :- (कम्प्यूटर एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी की अवधारणाओं एवं इस क्षेत्र में समसामयिक प्रौद्योगिकी विकास एवं नवाचार का ज्ञान :-)

• History, Introduction and Application of Computer, Information Technology, Internet and World Wide Web (WWW). [कम्प्यूटर, सूचना तकनीकी, इन्टरनेट एवं वर्ल्ड वाइड वेब (WWW) का इतिहास, परिचय एवं अनुप्रयोग]

Part- 3 (भाग-3)

General Information Related to The State of Uttar Pradesh :- (उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य से संबंधित सामान्य जानकारी :-)

• In this Part of the question paper, questions based on History, Culture, Art, Architecture, Festivals, Folk Dance, Literature, Regional Languages, Heritage, Social Customs and Tourism, Geographical Landscape and Environment, Natural Resources, Climate, Soil, Forest, Wildlife, Mines and Minerals, Economy, Agriculture, Industry, Business and Employment, Polity, Administration of Uttar Pradesh and Current Events and Achievements of Uttar Pradesh State in various fields etc. will be asked from the candidates. (प्रश्न पत्र के इस भाग से उम्मीदवारों से उत्तर प्रदेश का इतिहास, संस्कृति, कला, वास्तुकला, त्योहार, लोक नृत्य, साहित्य, क्षेत्रीय भाषायें, विरासत, सामाजिक रीति-रिवाज और पर्यटन, भौगोलिक परिदृश्य एवं पर्यावरण, प्राकृतिक संसाधन, जलवायु, मिट्टी, वन, वन्यजीव, खान और खनिज, अर्थव्यवस्था, कृषि, उद्योग, व्यवसाय और रोजगार, राजव्यवस्था एवं प्रशासन तथा समसामयिक घटनाओं एवं विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य की उपलब्धियाँ आदि पर आधारित प्रश्न पूछे जायेंगे।)
