The IBPS SO AFO Preliminary Exam is the first and most crucial stage for aspirants aiming to become Agriculture Field Officers (Scale I) in public-sector banks. It is a qualifying exam — your Prelims marks are not added in the final merit list, but you must clear the sectional as well as overall cut-offs to qualify for the Mains.

Important Notes
- All sections except English are bilingual (English & Hindi).
- There is no General Awareness / Current Affairs section in the Prelims for AFO (it appears only in some other Specialist Officer posts).
